Not that I think I'm not a nice person, just that it's really difficult to communicate in a way that everybody else would like me to when I just want to be able to thrive and live my life as myself and not as... whoever I've been up until my diagnosis

Honestly after being diagnosed with ADHD at 25 years old, I've been relearning how to communicate with other people. I spent 25 years trying to figure out how to be a good, nice person and now I feel like I'm back to square one because I want to add "authentic" to that
