I'm blown away by the fact that all VAL NA qualifiers allow watch party co-streams but every EU qualifier has a 100% ban on them. Do you not understand how big it is for the game's popularity if we allow this? We aren't stealing viewers, we are adding viewers... @ValorantEsports

its the same way for league of legends unfortunately. NA allows it, EU is a total ban.

From my time in coaching EU Valorant to NA now, I think the support structure is very closed off from the scene, in terms of format, costreams, and game rules. Feels entirely backwards.

as much as I agree, it's not going to change anytime soon I don't think. Because you have dozens of different countries, laws and broadcasting rights. It's an absolute minefield to manoeuvre around. NA is just NA, they have 3 countries at most to keep on the same page

I thought it had to do with laws in all the different countries in EU. At least that's the explanation I heard for why they don't allow it in League of Legends
