I wrote about Annie Ernaux's "The Super 8 Years" for . Grateful to Clint Krute and for great edits and getting me to "binge" Ernaux's writing, which was really more like a juice cleanse for the brain (full of deceptive clarity and absolutely hazardous)

CMS is overhauling its entire inspection process for hospices. Inspectors will survey patients from all three levels of care. And consider press reports in their evaluations. The changes go into effect immediately.
