#FixYouTubeCopyright Alright so that has been going on for quite some time now but this is getting way out of hand yet @TeamYouTube does absolutely nothing about this situation. How can so many people false claim other's content that easily, and get off with it so often?

YouTube can't really do much. They have to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act Maybe shift your anger more towards the US government, as they're kinda the ones tying YouTube's hands

False DMCAs are actually against the law and people can abuse the current system to steal money and content from content creators, without even providing personal information- completely bypassing the law and getting away with it like a boss.

Whether the actual claim itself is legal or not, the law is written so shoot-first-ask-questions-later, companies like YouTube have to make their claming system like that, so a company can walk all over YouTube videos, whether it be legal or not

But when YouTubers cannot properly appeal a copyright claim, not even with the direct contacts at youtube they recieve when they reach 100k subscribers, that's a really big issue. YouTubers can't do anything to defend against false claims.

Still, much more can be remedied with copyright reform than anything YouTube can do.

What I'm trying to say is, If you want to see these problems go away, looking at the DMCA is more worth your time than looking at Youtube
