Got a quick question for you, @TeamYouTube. Why is this (Family Guy video) in my recommended feed? Is this because of the Sasha Baron Cohen thing? Are you recommending it for that reason? Or is this just by chance?pic.twitter.com/sN4ojrhiWe

Exactly! I could understand if you watched a handful of videos from that channel. But if you only watch one video, then never clicked on another from that channel, has no business being on my recommend. It should only be actively watched channels.
I’d even settle for “like for like” content where the algorithm knows that I watched this specific “series” of video and recommended those.
UPDATE: looks like it’s only a temporary fix. 12 hours later, the only 2 channels that I clicked “Not Interested” are the first of 5 videos on my “recommended” UUUGGGHHHH!!!
I also had a Sacha Baron Cohen video recommended to me. Twice. I watched it because it was Bernie Sanders and that guy is...well, yeah. He’s something. The fact that video was recommended, though, why was it recommended? Because I dislike Bernie Sanders?
Sooooo...the option is still there on my end. At least on my phone. I hope it works. If it does, @TeamYouTube needs to make an effort letting people know. Less people would be pissed.
