I've found a new favorite phrase at Lambda School: "What will it take to launch that in the next 30 minutes?" Most of the time you can launch something as a hyper-MVP and test it quicker than you can talk about it and figure out if it's a good idea

Of course this doesn't work for everything; some stuff takes a culminated effort, but I've found it's a small minority. The economy of tests in startups is crazy. There's very little downside and potentially limited upside. So just test it.

Pair programming with the CEO at 10:30 on a Monday night to launch some total black ops project before the rest of the team comes in is like the stuff dreams are made of.

One of the main reasons I enrolled @LambdaSchool is the pace of innovation and your willingness to learn and change if necessary 💯 looking forward to starting in July.

In my exp only a question of reach/impact If you have little reach customer interviews (with or without mocks/prototypes) might have more impact

I found the limiting factor for quick MVPs was always distribution. It worked best when I had users that were representative and hyper-engaged, which was rare for a consumer app.

You can call a hyper MVP also an experiment, right? I recommend some design around your business model and then test the riskiest part:https://linksell.store/p/startup-experiment-guide/ …

The thing about launching a hyper-MVP though: will you be able to demonstrate value in something made in 30 minutes? Or is it worth developing some real features and UE so your would-be users can get a feel for what the real product will actually be like?
