Honestly it would probably have to be north of $500/yr for Prime to not be worth it.

Prime costs Rs. 999 in India. Thats $15. How much do you pay?
-
$100? $120? IDK
-
Woah. That would never work in India.

a lot of services are underpriced imo. I think Spotify could double their subscription fee and I wouldn't blink.

It's interesting to flip this on it's head. Maybe Amazon should pay us to use Prime. Their member base is the engine for ALL of their growth. The users and data attract FBA sellers, FBA drives Prime value for members. Those combined revs enable innovation (AWS, Video, etc)
-
Sure, Amazon "loses money" on shipping but seriously... they don't. Amazon saves far more in taxes (not profitable for most of it's history) than it loses from shipping (my guess) and when you combine that with the consumer data and demand Prime provides, Amazon should pay us!
-
But yeah... I'd pay $300/yr without a thought
