It’s not just code bootcamps that do this kind of math. Universities and the vast majority of studies that analyze their impact just don’t include the 50%+ of students that pay and drop out. If 80%+ of students are paying and not getting benefits that’s a HUGE deal.

I'd be interested to know what you found the important factors were: selecting the right students (somehow detecting motivation & perseverance)? Bonding with teammates? Making the learning intrinsically rewarding?
