To be clear: signalling absolutely matters now. There are ways to overcome it, but it's not easy. And I'm not convinced it's permanent.

My takeaway from this thread : Parker is spot on abt how the current system works from signaling & hiring POV. Austen & others are working to change BOTH the old signal & improve perception of new signal amongst employers. Signaling will always matter. Matter of which & how many.
