IDK how it is in SF, but here in SaMo people leave scooters right in the middle of sidewalks, making it hard for peds (let alone wheelchairs) to walk. That’s priority over Becky who left a bunch of stuff in clear view in her car and came back to a smashed window.

Is it that hard to just move the scooter? They weigh like 10 pounds and pretty sure you wouldn't infringe someone's right.

It's hard if you're elderly or disabled, for example. Scooters left like that should be towed just like cars parked illegally - like motorized vehicles, they belong on the street and must adhere to the same laws.

No one is saying nothing should be done about the scooters, just that the response is disproportionate to the level of problem.
