Had a panic attack in the shower the first check we got in because I was going on my first vacation since starting the company. I didn’t know how to reconcile “you need to get these people their money back - nothing is guaranteed” and “you need to take time”.

Yes. For about 5 minutes after the last $ hits the bank. Then it gets worse than before. Because you now have to return 5X of the $ you got, and have new bosses to answer. The red pill is being 'default alive', and getting profitable. Try it sometime ;)
