It's crazy to me that Lambda School actually works. We train people free. Online. They finish. They learn to program. They get jobs. They pay back.

Challenge. Can they do it (similar model) for other things besides programming? This nation needs to change the employer paradigm quicker.

Not sure accepting <10% of applicants is the best way to get employers on board. But I get it. The best of the best will validate those programs overall.

That’s what those programs are currently promoting. We had 5000 applicants, only accepted 100 (not real numbers, but you get the idea). They are really new, so...

Because any school that’s free upfront can get thousands of garbage applications easily. The total number of applicants is a meaningless number IMO
