The risk/reward of Twitter gets worse as you gain followers.
Possible positive: lots of people agree with you. Maybe someone wants to meet you.
Possible negative: you get fired and people start to boycot and protest everything you touch.

Pretty ridiculous that people were still beating him over the head for that, he surely increased the valuation of twitter just by using it. Sad to see him go.

Marc didn’t leave though. He likes tweets here and there. Enough content exists on twitter you can always find someone saying what you’d want to say and like it. Much lower risk of being punished by the mob for that. Basically speaking through 1000 mouths.
