Problem is their cloud business makes a profit but their retail business still doesn’t . Increased competition from the likes of Microsoft, Google and I think Walmart too could be risky long term for Amazon

That’s only true in aggregate because of the above chart. Basically they’re slitting off tons of cash but reinvesting it

And Americans gleefully consume, glutton, and devour. Once local retail dies Americans will realize they killed mom and pop... and any sembelance of innovation and competitive pricing not controlled by a single domain.

Amazon quietly builds their businesses. It’s amazing to watch. They are investing as much in video as Netflix but with a year delay and I don’t see many people talk about it
