@AustenAllred saw your tweet about Traction cs BlackHat forums. Have some ideas about how to grow Freeplay. Curious to learn what you guys do for growth. Can we talk to you and your head of growth?

Cool. Have you guys looked at old-school direct mail? (either email or paper). Talked to a data vendor the other day that uses current customer profiles to go out and find *demographic clones of your ideal customers* - has me intrigued

other founders I have talked to mentioned that email was key to early growth. have experienced that in B2B but never attempted in B2C.

Honestly right now I'm working on getting foundational stuff set up. We're launching a new website, setting up new CRM, new forms solution, then have to redo tracking etc. Right now doing standard paid acquisition methods, and there's still so much room for optimization there.
-
Makes sense. On paid acquisition, we tried Google & FB ads. At first, we thought we hit the jackpot; flood of new subscribers. Then we installed AppsFlyer to track attribution. Turns out it was coincidence. Good news/bad news: all of our growth is organic and word of mouth
-
we are focused on B2B rn. Seems to be a strong potential channel for us.
-
I think B2B could be huge for you. There are a ton of companies that offer gym membership as a perk, so big opportunity to differentiate your offering from locking people in to one specific gym. Employees would like it a lot more.
-
AppsFlyer is great for tracking attribution with apps. First thing you have to do is definitely get proper tracking/attribution in place (working on that now for Lambda, CRM being a big part of that). If you want to chat B2B let me know. That's a lot of my recent experience.
