Evergreen announced enrollment had dropped about 5% for the last academic year. That relatively small drop resulted in a hiring freeze and a $2.1 million budget deficit. Student loan debt is ridiculous especially considering you aren't guaranteed a job upon graduation. Not to mention many of the world's wealthiest people didn't obtain a college degree just proves it's not a "necessity" for creativity and building wealth in today's society.
