Ok, the 30 k cap is actually an important detail I had not considered. It means the student couldn’t end up being ‘too successful’ for the ISA to make sense. Thanks for clarifying!

No problem. Not all schools have a cap, which I think is troublesome, and some students will get confused thinking a cap is what they'll owe (e.g. that they'll pay a percentage until they've paid up to the cap no matter what), so we have to be very clear about messaging.

Economically speaking, there virtually is not a scenario where a student is worse off as a result of attending Lambda School and paying back their ISA. If it were legal we would prefer take a percentage of income increase. ISA turns education from risky investment to no brainer
