In what way do you think Silicon Valley should improve?

More Silicon Valleys for one. Concentrating $2 trillion in output in a single zip code isn't healthy for the industry or the country at large.

Hahahahahahahaha. Disagree 1000x. There’s no way I’d participate in that IP stealing country and don’t get me started on their great firewall. Hard pass.
-
Funny thing about information is that it’s not practically own-able. Without the state enforcing IP monopolies people will learn from existing information and then copy it and expand on it. It’s to the benefit of humanity that China does not respect US IP laws.
-
We’re almost*** all richer because of it. ***Except the people that lose the ability to charge monopoly prices based on their IP.
-
Case in point. Google F150 China fake and think on that. Or all the iPhone clones. Their government hasn’t shown any balls in terms of protecting foreign IP and then that great firewall is should be appalling to any real nerd
-
I’m also appalled by the great firewall. But I do not oppose copying information, because information is not property.

What's the biggest competitive advantage you've found the Chinese possess over Western/SV start-ups?

I thought the same thing when I was in Israel, Tel Aviv felt very much like Silicon Calley, there was just this energy in the air
