Why did this change? I waver on this belief. As a non celeb with a normal sized inbox I think every human that emails me deserves a response.

I totally agree with Mike. If someone spent their time composing a thoughtful, specific, personalized email, then it’s courteous to respond.

Because I learned how precious time is and how hard it is to get everything done that needs to be done

I have respect for VCs that respond. ESPECIALLY those who are courteous enough to tell you up front if the deal isn't right for them.
