Have you published anything talking about how many people you accept vs don’t make it? Stats or breakdowns etc
-
2-3% accepted. No detailed stats yet though.
-
Oh interesting. Hard for applicants but great from a demonstrating demand and growth perspective. What’s the barrier to accepting more students? Guessing teaching resource rather than scalability for the platform?
-
Needed grads so they could act as TAs. Now they’re getting hired too fast, so we’ll figure it out.

Do you omit their names during the application process? If so, awesome!! If not, it's a possible source of bias in the process. I'm so impressed with what you're building with Lambda. What was the result of the name suggestion polling?
-
We tried but we call them on the phone, hard to say “um is someone there?” We’re sticking with Lambda School
-
True. And whoever answers might not know who Candidate A9827304 is. It sounds like you're keeping it out as long as possible anyways. I personally like Lambda school.

How are you achieving both? Applicant reviewers aren't given personally identifying info?

Do you all expose your process so some of us could pick it up or learn from it for our own orgs?
