SV also attracts hyper driven conquer the world types. Those who advocate <40 hour weeks are not necessarily out to try and build the next Google. That doesn’t make them unsuccessful.

less than 40 hours per week? Definitely not. Not more than 60, or 80? Yeah, I can see that. It’s a gradular thing. I think the problem is that “work hard” is so vague, everybody understands it differently. But 40 hours as a limit is pretty arbitrary
