Did you use it on a different carrier before? If so a tech will need to help you as Apple’s software can’t seem to fix switching (spent 2 hours at tmobile yesterday)

If you have the legacy unlimited plan you can’t add it to your plan. You’ll have to go to the local office to switch to the new unlimited plan + $10 a month for the LTE plan for the phone.

I know, I’m not a fan myself :-) But that was the only way we seemed to be able to get it done. I suggest going in full clown makeup, it will keep them off balance & polite.

Similar. I'm now on unlimited with T-mobile and have saved us 30% per month. That's a lot of dough.
