Don’t get me wrong, it’s important; some incumbents have advantages, some markets are flooded. But VCs as a category stress way too mich about the one other barely-existing company doing the same thing.

@CuddliApp competitor focused almost entirely on what we were doing vs. winning with users. That is why we are ahead in our category. -

I suffer the same bias as an engineer evaluating a good opportunity at a early stage startup. It’s really silly when you think about it. “You guys are making a dashboard app, what about Tableau and Domo” there is a lot of money to be made and people to serve
