My point is: if you want to get a degree follow through and get a job in that field, even if it requires you to leave your comfort zone. There are jobs in every field, find them. Bartenders have settled.

Then choose a major that is not overly saturated. I have no sympathy for MBAs either. Do your research before entering a program. Look at projections, BLS and other data. Another key question: Can my job be automated or replaced by software?
I never said anything about being simple. A degree is only a license to learn, adjust and pursue. If you get a degree where the average salary is $30k, maybe bartender is a better gig. Do research and find a viable career.
