anyway the issue is scihub uses cloudflare so even if you know the IP you can't just put that in the browser. there's a million ways to fix this but the above method is by far the worst

assuming you use windows 1. open notepad or w/e in admin mode 2. open "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" for edit in that 3. add "{tab}104.18.58.63{tab}scihub" to an empty line. save. 4. profit. also now you can just type "scihub" in the browser

if you use a mac i'm sure there's a similar solution but i'd have to google for the equivalent. if you use linux fucking with fiddly shit constantly is what you live for so you don't need my help anyway

just have to edit /etc/hosts (sudo nano /etc/hosts)
