Sometimes I wonder how close Theranos actually was to making something legitimate if they had any level of moral scruples. It honestly seems like they weren't far off, just unrealistic and pushed to production in a space where you can't push to production when you're not ready.

One of my favorite moments was when some employees finally got a look inside of “the box” and found that it looked like a junior high school science project.
