Maybe since influence is becoming distributed it’s getting harder to buy so paradoxically it makes these shrinking institutions relatively more attractive

I’m thinking more along the lines of me having a few secret billionaire sponsors that pay me
$x per month to tweet in favor of their pet ideologies. At scale, this would surely be more influential than owning a newspaper. Think of $50b spent on this rather than political ads.4 replies 1 retweet 3 likes
