More and more students are leaving college to join Lambda. Starting to get messages from them every day. Usually we get them about midway through sophomore year when they realize “Wait *this* is what I’m paying $40,000/yr for?”

The people who got jobs in my school were spending 60+ hours a week. No idea how people had time for other things. Family? No idea.

Yikes! I guess hustle factors in here too but nonetheless in a low course-load semester. Will be
it in the upcoming semesters fo sho! -
I'd say if you are applying to a coding school, be prepared to give it your 100%. Why not take a semester off?

That’s interesting 1. Are most coding schools formally structured or do they allow one to go through stuff on own pace? 2. Can I link this up with relevant course-load for more of a ‘two birds, one stone’ kind of synergy?

-
Keep in mind I went to Devmountain, not Lambda. No, they are structured out. It's all scheduled. Man, take a semester off. I 100% guarantee that a coding school will provide you more value than any semester at college. Don't try to mix the two.

Graduating 6 months later will not be the end of you... Like I said earlier, it wouldn't be healthy to do the two. You will stretch yourself thin. Hustle doesn't mean anything in relation to your health and sanity.

That’s fair. It’s a tangible skillset that pays off exponentially, definitely worth the time delta. Thanks Peter! This was insightful
