I'm hoping we see more of this kind of geographic arbitrage. I don't understand how some companies can simultaneously have 1) an urgent need for talent 2) not enough money to pay for local talent and 3) a "no remote" policy. Something has to give.
Being employed in the US and living in Poland, I can testify this is the best deal ever. I get to travel a lot too, much more than I could if I were office-bound. Location-agnostic companies are a game changer, for founders, employees and local communities alike
