Yes no difference whatsoever, except the minimum salary being almost 2x, the fact that there’s no interest, industry specificity of getting a job being required for repayment, and going away in 5 years not 30. Carbon copy.

Fair enough. My point is that in England we talk about student loan/debt rather than the much more positive "free university until you get a job".

Some of us have been saying that about the English system too.... it's called 'debt' but doesn't behave in any way like 'debt' as most people understand it

Also true. The English system is about 100x better than the one in the US. Australia is pretty solid too.
