Basically, because Kayne has a lot of money and could pay cash and not stress (who likely won't leave his career to become a full-time programmer), he gets everything for free... but those who have to work hard, have to work even harder?

Oh, I didn't read the part where he would be required to sponsor you guys - they don't give that stuff out for free. Everything comes at a cost. Athletes sign contracts for those contracts and so, yes, they work for that money

Athletes agree to wear gear and not only get it for free but get paid to do so. Certainly being famous makes things easy.
