Think about it, it there really another way to create a strong startup? (Ie not lean) EVERY startup founder should take the same approach. Create small and cheap experiments to validate/invalidate your assumptions, especially in the beginning. Then act on what you learned.

the best business to start is one you can unilaterally execute yourself. Imagine if they had just waited for meetings to materialize with suppliers before trying to sell.
