Have talked to several people in recent weeks who want to come to the US, bring millions of dollars, start companies, and hire a bunch of people. The fact that *they* find it next-to-impossible to get a visa boggles my mind. Why would we ever want to keep someone like that out?

No VISA is a sure thing. And processing takes a lot of time, seems to be very inefficiently handled.
-
We should be *begging* for folks like that to come over
-
Yeah, maybe they can fix the slow as molasses VISA process. ;)

Tried to hold it in but I can’t. Nope not with this guy in officepic.twitter.com/htNKyAXCkz

I've had several different kinds of US visas (for residency) since the 1970s and can assure you the process was just as slow under Jimmy Carter as it Was Bush senior. It has nothing to do with the guy on top, unless he overhauls the slow gov system.

Slowing down and them not being to come in at all might be two different problems but I would bet they can’t come in at all depending what country they are from of course the odds of them coming in at all are even less!

You are clearly having a different conversation. Austen was discussing Eb-5 visas.
-
Hmm I don’t think the guy on top cares which visa they are trying to get.
