What is your placement rate? Student who have spent x (at least two weeks and two grand perhaps) time and money with you who have a job? 9/10? 10/10?

Nice! To be clear, I am a BIG fan! Just love data. :) Does that 83% count students who have dropped out? From following your tweets, dropouts might not even hurt the stat since some are drop (hired to job) outs.
-
No, it doesn’t include dropouts
-
How many dropouts are you seeing per cohort so far? How does the income share repayment work with them?
-
About 80-85% graduate, if you drop out after the first month you have a pro-rated income share agreement, otherwise you don’t pay anything
-
Nice. :) Your model makes me happy. I am intrigued by the other thread I saw about if you ever plan on doing liberal arts type classes. Do you currently do any type of business communication or business skills type work as part of program?

I'm curious - do you think it'll ever make sense for schools with your business model to teach liberal arts subjects? (history, literature, etc) My guess is "no" and that's just fine. The value of that stuff being taught in college is overrated.
-
Not sure. Definitely not as simple to predict or influence. I view us as a trade school, and most careers as trades.
-
I think there’s signaling value to being “cultured” that universities provide, that really does help you in your career (e.g. making people in power feel like you are “like them”). It all seems kind of worthless functionally though.
-
You have to wonder how durable this signaling value will be. I suspect we'll see its influence wane over time.

Was the skin in the game incentive a small part of why you chose your business model, or was it based entirely on the superior experience for your students?
-
I think those two things are the same

Yeah igy

How are you tracking all this as a workflow for your students (individually) and your org (across cohorts)? There could be a natural partnership/opportunity with what

No skin in the game for those paying upfront though. Is it a concern for the business model?
