What brought you here to Oakland (besides the scooter)?

Because a car seat fits great on a scooter

He said scooters and electric bikes. You can actually carry kids just fine on bikes. People in the Netherlands do it all the time.pic.twitter.com/ViHONJx4Sy

Congrats on providing a specific counter example. If I move to the Netherlands and get rid of one of my kids I’ll remember that

That same method of bike transportation works in the US, or anywhere else. There are also other options for if you have more children. Also, kids can ride their own bikes. Do you have a wife? She could carry a child or two on her bike.pic.twitter.com/F3cuDsEO8n

So when I’m at work, she is loading all 3 kids with their gear and traveling between 20-30 miles a day in 100 degree heat in the summer and a foot of snow in the summer on a bike? Use cases matter.
-
People do this. Just because we are accustomed to cars doesn't mean that's the only feasible way to transport ourselves/our families. You can still clear bike paths, the same way a road is cleared.

At least ban parked cars on one side of every road and create bike lanes

Now do it in heavy rain, sleet, snow, and hail and see if you feel the same way.

Visited LA a month ago and spent 4 hours riding scooters along the Santa Monica pier. It was the most fun ever. Everybody was having a blast. Now they’re banning them there too.

But how would people subtle flex if they can't been seen in their Model X?
