Yep. Like @Jason says. You don’t bet against Elon. Assanine.

Of course. Stupid to bet against a company with back orders and a cutting edge product. Elon didn’t come this far to fail. Come on people.

You can be bullish on Tesla’s future and bearish on
$TSLA at $350 at the same time.

My real question is when was the last time Elon has had a resounding failure? Not a publicity issue. Not a delay. I mean flat out, no spinning it, failure. He's not someone I'd want to bet against despite knowing that there are thousands of people working for him across companies

Well, if he doesn't it won't be because someone who actually creates, builds and produces for a living finds a way to stop it. It will be someone from the zero sum game useless end of the spectrum.

I bought a couple of shares immediately after his very first take private tweet out of sheer "ok fine do it".

Who knows if tesla can pull this off operationally, but betting against Elon musk’s ability to fund raise is not good

they've been buying up stuff to offset oil declines for like a decade now, they own like half of VAG

duhhh still, tone of the blog and proceeding tweet was probably the most firmly "filtered through Legal department" thing I've ever seen him write by far. If he even wrote it! Clearly they realized with the wrong attention and a little bad luck things could become messy
-
I wasn't expecting quite so sober a statement
-
for what it's worth, the board stopped calling him Elon Musk, Chairman and CEO. Now it's only Mr. Musk. It was always Chairman and CEO, not anymore
-
It's bc they're going through with the whole process. Him stepping aside for it was announced last week. It's part of the process But it has a fun implication for bears seeking confirmation bias, which means a dip I can buy, yet again lol
-
You do you. But I’m not sure whether it’s wise betting on a guy who painted a highly visible 10b-5 target on his own back publicly and even simple due diligence would uncover more likely cases
-
haha what no literally it's a nonevent. everything else is whatever you want to make of it but recusal is normal standard practice where board members have such a large % of the stock

Should’ve waited to actually get the stuff started before tweeting about it, it’s like tweeting you have a girlfriend just because you went on a date
