Also, IMO, one of the main reasons underprivileged demographics have such a hard time breaking into tech. Signaling “the right things” is so completely natural to someone in the ivy leagues, so foreign to someone who doesn’t have any support.

There is
@derekmagill from@TryPathly doing this. IMHO it should be segmented towards different careers for it to scale though. He's starting it out in the wildThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

To be honest, I don’t know if I would have made the leap to start your program without the career services portion. That’s huge.

I might even sign up for something like that if it was offered outside of the regular lambda curriculum.

Without that income sharing I think it doesn't make sense for it to exist otherwise (unless it's non-profit). Another great example of how that model helps align your interests as a company in favor of a student: This now helps you, and them, make more money more quickly.

I do. I help people get into tech. Lots don’t have a clue about the opportunities, how to access them, the norms, expectations, etc.

This is so great. Self-presentation, interview skills, resumé details, charisma, confidence, body language, job application etiquette are all things that can be learned. Mentoring works!!

I agree with other replies that I think it’s hard to split career services from school/sector because it has to be specific. There are tons of coaching apps and recruiters trying to do this, but nothing as compelling as what you are trying to do or what
@KIPP does for its gradsThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
