Real estate there doesn't seem THAT cheap though.

I'm in San Francisco. That real estate is free.

We made it one tweet before some Bay Area dork brought up the high cost of living he brought on himself. We’re all very impressed.
-
It was originally my tweet...
-
Changes nothing. Real estate in SF is more expensive than Chattanooga. Wow. That added a lot to the convo.

Very hard for families, schools are terrible (and private is very expensive) and crime rate unfortunately quite high. (Don’t get me wrong, I love that city to death!)
-
Coming from San Francisco I’ve gotta say, “you know nothing Jon Snow”
-
Could be true in both places (I lived in Chatt for 5 years, have great friends there). 3 kids, gotta pay for private school, huge cost. I'm not considering SF either for same reasons. Obv something is holding it back, gotta be schools+housing (little housing supply as well)

Where’s the fun in
#Resist if everyone geographically near you agrees with you :) -
That’s why we need more of y’all! I just moved to Chattanooga and am constantly inspired by the growing community of progressive young professionals.
-
I know. I'm just kidding. There are good people all over. Even ones who made a big mistake. ;)
