Travel ~1 week in 4, so 2-6 visits per site per year, 1-5 days each. Stay v near offices to maximise time with team. And have great GMs and “transplant” culture carriers in each office.

Sounds like one of the best ways to do it!

Minor nitpick: “headquarters in multiple cities” is an oxymoron, like “several top priorities”

I’ve helped most who expanded to Denver. The way I’ve seen it done best is: 1) 10-15 people from original HQ to establish similar culture. 2) the whole leadership shares the burden of traveling to, meeting with teams and being a leader. 3) ELT hires in 2nd city legitimize it.

Commenting to follow. Also, I’d love to hear about your remote-first setup and how it’s working for you.

Depends how far are the multiple cities between them. The closer ones every other Friday for the FSS. The far far away ones, every 3 months for 10 days.
