I worked in Dell in 1998, we were booming selling servers for e-commerce start-ups. Then in 2000, the whole e-commerce market tanked, people were afraid the whole thing would collapse and the novelty would wear off. Was this guy responsible??

actually he was in right in one instance "most people have nothing to say to each other" which reflect exactly the state of internet today. Most people don't talk to each other but live in bubbles being talked to by propaganda machines.
