We’re going to try another experiment. We’re going to pay 10 people $1,000/month ($7,000 total) to attend Lambda School’s 7 month iOS + CS program. After you graduate you’ll pay 10% of salary for 4 years, only if you’re making $50k+, capped at $40k total.

When I was planning to do a boot camp startup (we would have been first - I modeled on Bloomberg’s system), I had the same thought - companies could sponsor students as class progressed. Interviews are irrelevant if u can create company <-> employee bond as part of process.

When I last explored ISAs I thought: there should be a venture-fund aspect to this, where participant “payback” *beyond* the contractually specified amount goes into a members-preferred fund that reinvests in the next generation for returns.https://mengwong.livejournal.com/59328.html
