I would say significantly less, in the
@udacity nanodegree range. $400-$2,400 depending on if it’s broken up into different sections. -
For the full 1500 hrs of curriculum? Would have to be way more
-
That’s a good point. I didn’t realize all recorded lecture content would be available. If it’s basically the same, except for watching lectures on your own schedule, I don’t see why it would be a lot less than paying up front, maybe $10-15,000.
-
The accountability and teamwork in the current offerings are huge benefits. They also help encourage students to stay engaged and push through the hard times. I think the price would have to be high enough to incentivize conpleting the program.

Maybe an ISA but without the limit? You pay x% for x years, no matter how much that turns out to be? In that case, it pays for you if only one in a hundred strikes big, and you can take risks on undisciplined people, as long as some of them are brilliant.
-
Self-paced means we can't guarantee you'll finish
-
I know. That's why you need compensation for the risk.

@lighthouse_labs charges $10,000 for their 10 week full time boot camp here in Canada. $1600 for their part time. In-person though.. We’ve hired a couple developers out of there. -
$1600 for part-time?
-
Ya, I think the part time course is just 6 hours per week for 5 weeks
-
https://lighthouselabs.ca/intro-to-web there ya go. We have only ever hired out of the full time course though, fyi.

What's the level of mentorship? To me this would determine (how are you following up with people manually/assisting manually). $500-$1200 / month?
-
I wonder if the full-time students could provide mentorship (paid in somehow). They'd learn by teaching. And learning from someone just ahead of you works well b/c they remember what it was like to *not know*. (They don't have the Curse of Knowledge)

I think it would reach a market that otherwise can not attend a bootcamp, but if you charge 500 dollars a month you are completely excluding that market, There is low income people who has 30 hours a week thats spread out and cant pay 500 a month. those people do not need ignored
