With enough scale we can get the price of housing and possibly food to be *cheap*. A year from now you’ll be able to just “show up,” hustle, and have a high-paying career on the other side (or pay nothing at all).

We won’t be done until any hard working person can just raise their hand, work hard, and be sheparded into a high paying job at no upfront cost. Every person in a less than ideal job because they can’t afford to transition is devastating economically. We can fix it for everyone.

Any plans to expand outside of US? There’s a lot of talent shortage across the globe. Plus, because of the short time to get hired your model should work even if the higher education is much less expensive than it is in the states.
-
Yup, but need financing infrastructure outside the US first. ISAs are hard elsewhere. We’ll get there.

Can you put up those documents under Creative Commons? ;)

Documents are the easy part

We need to talk about this and experiment2. I might know a way to ensure LS profit from students working outside USA

Does the housing have to be in SF? Why not offer housing in a place where housing is more affordable (Pittsburgh comes to mind) but cohorts have complete support and also job opportunities when they finish?

In two years time you'll have private childcare that's included as well!

Would love that

Any plans for a physical space/housing outside of the US Austen? (Appreciate you are only getting started there)
-
Have to build out financing structure for outside the US first. So eventually, likely not this year

A good chunk of our team came so CS through conversion courses. So much untapped potential out there. Looking forward to seeing your model have a global impact. Can see plenty of demand here in Ireland/EU

Look into investing in opportunity act. Take ur capital gains, place it in high poverty communities in the US, 0 taxes for 10 years.

I love this. It has all the upsides of a nonprofit with its drive to *really* help people, all of the upside of a for-profit, and the forward-thinking drive that the best tech companies have. I hope you expand to NYC and have room for adjunct staff: I would love to get in on this
