This is the range. Athens is the site of the new Toyota Plant, so prices abnormally high there. Decatur has some good industrial base now (ULA, chemicals, metal, materials) and also some busted warehouse-style buildings (convert to student housing!!).pic.twitter.com/pE6czHJvWV

I have to think there are some busted warehouses/factories ripe for conversion in Huntsville. I can think of at least one. There may also be some random ones to the east. Eastern land is waaaay less dense, and we’re not talking dense to start!

Would love to take over a warehouse/factory and convert to housing

In Nashville they’re doing that for quarter-to/half-million dollar condos. Student housing, each unit like 4 BR w/en-suite baths, plus common area kitchen/EIK/LR/pantry. Lounge plus a gym plus a library/study area.

Get a student housing operator to renovate/run it for you as a donation.
