Context? Year? The easy explanation is he's only talking to white male billionaires. But I believe there's more to the story. Surely he knows about suffering/injustice/poverty/corruption/prisons/weapons/politics/BigCo/racism. Where does his optimism come from? Genuine questions.

You don’t have to think everything is perfect to be optimistic. You just have to believe (correctly) that things are better and will continue to get better.
