I have just started with http://torch.io after
@garrytan and@joshbuckley recommended it. I think I make about one good decision every 3 months. Goal for 2018 is to up that to 2.
Seriously though, nothing has helped me more with my founder anxiety than coaching.

I think what people criticise in that HN discussion is that an employee should be measured by output rather than input. Of course, in practice, that's super hard to do and productive hours might be a good proxy as long as you don't force employees to work 8+/day

IMO this is exactly why companies suck at managing both local and especially remote people. Managing to “productive hours” is lazy and ineffective. Managing commitment, clear ownership, and output is harder but has yielded far better results in my (admittedly small) teams.
