This is something I misunderstood for a long time. The value of SF isn’t finding 100 people who can write Python. I get your point but your scale is off. 100-150k in SF only gets you an entry-mid level SE. That Google engineer is retired off stock options or pulling 2-3x that Whereas, that 100-150k will get you a world class remote dev
