That’s so weird I just went through the replies and saw maybe one person noting that it’s a sign of privilege to be able to tune out politics. Is that what you meant?

Yeah I did the same and didn't see anyone call him racist. It's understandable to be fatigued by politics. We all get that. But I personally disagree with this stance because it's essentially just intellectual laziness. Einstein didn't mute politics.

Isn't it only "intellectual laziness" if Twitter is his only source of news? Personally, I have news apps that delivery the news to me and I don't necessarily want to get it on my feed. That could just be me though.

A lot of “news” can safely be avoided, and of what Twitter is constantly arguing about it’s probably 90%, all with absurd arguments, tribalism, and everyone trying to dunk on each other. That has nothing to do with privilege.
