The vast majority of those units were going to be unaffordable anyway. I'm not shedding tears over a developer who plainly states he wants to get in, make money, and get out. SF needs more *affordable* housing, not this.

It’s not a zero sum game. Building more housing is more places to live, even if rich people live there it lessens demand on the cheaper places
