Am I supposed to feel sorry for this guy, or..?

No you’re supposed to feel sorry for the people who are getting prices out of the city because its residents refuse to build more housing
-
The vast majority of those units were going to be unaffordable anyway. I'm not shedding tears over a developer who plainly states he wants to get in, make money, and get out. SF needs more *affordable* housing, not this.
-
It’s not a zero sum game. Building more housing is more places to live, even if rich people live there it lessens demand on the cheaper places

In Kigali, every nice house has a guard with a shotgun out front. Is that where we are headed?

Gotta go to the state level methinks

At this point we may need National Guard involvement. :)

Analysis paralysis at a huge cost (legal fees AND a continued stagnant supply of housing with ever increasing demand)
